This course helps volunteers feel confident officiating, ensure fair and consistent play, and support inclusive, positive environments for athletes. By building local officiating capacity, volunteers play an important role in strengthening community boccia programs.
Who is this course intended for?
Attendees of this course are expected to have a basic understanding of boccia. Though you do not need to know every rule, having a general sense of the sport will help you in this course.
This virtual course is also the first step for referees that intend on officiating at higher level events, like provincials, nationals, or even the Paralympics!
Course Dates & Times
– Saturday February 21, 9am to 1pm EST
– Sunday February 22, 9am to 1pm EST
Course Cost
– FREE for OCPSA Members
– $45 for non-OCPSA Members
