What is Boccia?
Boccia is a precision ball sport similar to bocce, specifically designed for athletes with physical disabilities. The objective is to throw or roll leather balls (red or blue) as close as possible to the target ball, known as the “jack.” It’s a test of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship.

High-Level Competition
- Provincial championships featuring qualified athletes in classifications BC1, BC2, BC3, BC4, BC5, Impaired Open, Senior Open, and Junior Open.
- Expect elite athletic performances as athletes compete for rankings, medals, and spots on Team Ontario.
Coming to Belleville for a Second Year!
- The 2025 event in Belleville brought in the largest crowds and sponsorship in the event’s history. With the high interest in the community, the event will be coming back to Belleville to grow the sport even more.
- Cost: Spectator entry is free.

- 2PM: Opening Ceremonies and first matches for competitive divisions
- Afternoon: Round-robin and elimination rounds

- Morning–afternoon: Round-robin and elimination rounds
