Similar to curling\, bocce\, and lawn bowling\, Boccia challenges your precision\, accuracy\, and strategy as you aim soft leather balls toward the target ball\, known as the “jack.” \nBoccia is easy to learn but quickly builds in intensity as you develop skills and tactics. Whether you’re playing for fun or competition\, it’s a great way to sharpen your focus\, build teamwork\, and enjoy some friendly competition! \nRegistration for the Winter Boccia Session will begin on March 24 for Belleville Tax Payers and March 27 for Belleville Non-Tax Payers. Registration will be available online through the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre (QSWC) website\, inperson at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre and alternatively\, by phone at 613-966-4632. \nSchedule:\n5:30 – 6:30 PM: Skill development & recreational games\n6:30 – 7:30 PM: Competitive games

DESCRIPTION:BC3 Training Clinic: \n\nFocus: Designed for athletes in the BC3 classification\, this clinic aims to enhance skills specific to this classification.\n\nClinic Breakdown: \n\nSaturday 4pm – 7pm: Non-sport specific training sessions\, lead by IST technicians (may include strength & conditioning\, nutrition\, mental performance\, media training\, etc.) \nSunday 9am – 4pm: On-court boccia training\, lead by sport coaches\n\nNotes: \n\nIncludes Sunday lunch for 1 athlete and 1 assistant;\nInternal and external travel\, as well as accommodations\, are the responsibility of the athlete;\nNo refunds will be made for unused lunches;\nBC1 and BC3 athletes are eligible to claim PP support up to $100.\n\nNon-BC3 athletes are welcome to register for one of our other 2 training clinics\, designed for their specific classification.
