DESCRIPTION:Come out on Thursday evenings at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre and discover the exciting game of Boccia! This inclusive sport is perfect for all ages and abilities and is played indoors from a seated position. Similar to curling\, bocce\, and lawn bowling\, Boccia challenges your precision\, accuracy\, and strategy as you aim soft leather balls toward the target ball\, known as the “jack.” \nBoccia is easy to learn but quickly builds in intensity as you develop skills and tactics. Whether you’re playing for fun or competition\, it’s a great way to sharpen your focus\, build teamwork\, and enjoy some friendly competition! \nSchedule:\n5:15 – 6:10 PM: Skill development & recreational games\n6:10 – 7:15 PM: Competitive games \nEight-Week Program – $36.00 under 16 – $44.00 for 16 and older. \nRegistration is now available online through the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre (QSWC) website\, in-person at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre and alternatively\, by phone at 613-966-4632.
