In keeping with Article III of the OCPSA Bylaws, you are hereby notified that the Annual Meeting (AM) for Fiscal Year Ending March 31, 2023 will be held virtually on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 7:30 p.m.
The Annual Meeting is open to Members in good standing at 11:59 pm on August 28, 2023. Members are entitled to a maximum of one (1) vote excluding proxies. Members under the age of eighteen (18) may participate in the meeting but are not entitled to vote. One parent/guardian, on behalf of a Member under the age of eighteen (18), may participate in the meeting and is entitled to one (1) vote.
Every Member entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting may vote by mail-in if the voting member requests, in writing to the OCPSA head office, a mail-in ballot by September 7, 2023 and that he/she submit the mail-in ballot to the OCPSA head office in a post marked envelope date stamped by September 21, 2023. Alternatively, Members may, by means of a proxy, appoint a proxy holder to attend and vote on behalf of the Member. A proxy form will be included in the Agenda Package.
The business to be considered at the AM is set out below in part:
- Call to order
- Establishment of Quorum/Roll Call
- Approval of the Agenda
- Declaration of any Conflicts of Interest
- Adoption of Minutes of the previous Annual Meeting
- Report of Auditors
- Appointment of Auditors
- Adjournment
Please note that there are no elections taking place at this meeting.
